Hotel Safety Audits

Hotels run kitchens, bars, housekeeping, engineering and often leisure under one roof. We align them under one framework so inspections feel routine and brand standards hold from breakfast through to night checks

Standard

Fire and life safety across departments
A full-day audit that pulls together food safety, health and safety, fire safety, security and leisure where relevant.

We look at how departments work together, how information flows and how well controls are maintained, even during busy times.

Night operations

Hotel Safety Audit with Night Team Check
Everything in the standard audit plus an overnight review of night walks, alarm and crisis response and guest support.

Complex sites

Enhanced Hotel Safety Audit
For large or complex properties we spend longer on site so spa, pool, golf or extensive conferencing are covered properly.

Findings are coordinated so actions in one area do not cause problems in another.
What we look for

Joined-up controls

We test allergen flow from menu to pass to table, evaluate cellar and chemical storage, review evacuation roles and drills, and check contractor and permit controls. We speak with department heads so responsibilities and training needs are clear.

These are just a few of the aspects of an operation that we assesss during an audit.

Helen Davies
Searcys and WSH Restaurants,
Head of Safety

"Very impressed with your approach, the team really enjoyed your audits and feel very supported by you - in particular, the 'show me/tell me' approach that you use during audits to engage with the teams on site."

Myles Woodwards
Baxter Storey, Operations Manager

"The auditor was engaging and energetic and my teams got huge value from her audits, well beyond just checking off the audit criteria.

They have been left more aware of best practice for their locations and are now energised about raising their safety standards even further!"
